Nrip Nihalani

Nrip Nihalani is a Health Care Technology Evangelist. He is an advocate of using technology to improve Health care in emerging markets globally.

He actively consults on a variety of private as well as public healthcare projects in India, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Cameroon and the United States. In a career of over 14 years Nrip has worked on projects in the areas of Improved Information Therapy, Collaborative Patient Work Groups, Healthcare Social Media, EMR Adoption, Syndromic Disease Surveillance, Point of care data collection, Patient Safety, eHealth and mHealth, Technology for Doctors and Telemedicine.

He regularly speaks at conferences on a variety of topics related to healthcare technology and social media. These include Information Therapy, Internet and Mobile use in Healthcare, Electronic Medical Records, Disease Surveillance, Healthcare Data Mining and Patient Record Digitization. Over the past decade he has won numerous awards and features every year on the lists of whos who in Healthcare Technology including the HIT100 list.

He works closely with all layers of the healthcare industry, including doctors and researchers to help design long lasting solutions to problems faced by health workers, doctors and researchers, and develop systems which simplify healthcare provision and improve the accuracy of technology based health informatics.

He has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan(Royal Institute of Technology),Stockholm. He has a Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Mumbai.
